Inspection Training Associates (ITA)When I entered the inspection field, I sought out the best formal training
I could find to compliment my technical expertise – and attended and became an early alumnus of Inspection Training
Associates in California. ITA continues to be the premier inspection school in the US. On a yearly basis ITA hosts a comprehensive
conference for inspectors across the country which I attend.

InspectechFrom 1993 through 1998, I was affiliated with Inspectech, an organization
that served the western part of the United States providing education, software and software training, mentoring and support
to 500+ affiliates. During those years I was recognized as a leader in the organization and the recipient of awards such as
the Iron Man Award and Production Leader.
American Society of Home InspectorsI joined the American Society of Home Inspectors, ASHI,
and have been a participating member since 1995. ASHI is the oldest and most respected professional organization for home
inspectors in the US. Its members must have inspection experience, pass a qualifying examination, have peer review of their
reports, conduct their inspections to ASHI Standards and Code of Ethics, and participate in continuing education classes in
order to join ASHI and maintain their membership in the organization. I am active in two Colorado ASHI chapters and frequently
attend the annual conference. My knowledge is constantly being updated through my attendance at monthly meetings and annual
ASHI and ITA conferences.
